Excerpted from a wire interview, january 27, 2005
"I'm often asked what is my favorite subject to photograph The answer is simple... exactly the person, place or object I am with as I am shooting. As a self-taught photographer, I use my life experiences and the moments I've shared with family and friends, especially my mother, as my motivation and inspiration. What truly rocks my world is the energy exchange..the learning process that is prevalent in every single photo shoot.Each one is a journey of self-discovery - for the client and for me. I'm always learning something new or remembering something ancient.
It's wonderful to see someone, especially one who isn't accustomed to having his or her photo taken, open up and discover the freedom and joy of showing themselves to me and more importantly, to themselves. I suppose, in essence, the photos are merely the icing on the proverbial "cake". They are a by-product of the creative process... a kind of "gift with purchase".
I communicate with my clients and do whatever I feel is necessary or appropriate to create a sacred space where freedom of expression and surrender to the moment are key elements. As I am wont to say, "It's my job for you to be photogenic. It's your job to be yourself and nothing else".

Meet George Coronado
Here it is...
George Maiko Coronado grew up in Peru and studied in South America, Switzerland and Italy. George has earned degrees in foreign languages, tourism, hotel management as well as marketing. He is fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish.
His experience in traveling to more than 70 countries created opportunities to work for the most prestigious hotels and European cruise lines such as Costa Cruises, Festival Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line.
George moved to South Florida in September 2001 with a desire to start his own business. Not long after that, he and his business partners Arnold Matteson and Oren Nizri launched their own music production and event planning company, Give Me A Beat Productions LLC. George directs the PR and the marketing of Give Me A Beat Productions which has built up a great reputation in the entertainment and nightlife industry in Miami.
Currently, George, in addition to his work with Give Me A Beat Productions, represents his business partner DJ/Producer Oren Nizri and Photographer Dale Stine and manages their bookings, PR and contracts.
George said in one of his latest interviews : " I do PR and represent artists that I truly believe in. My passion for their art and talents motivates me considerably in the endless and continuous work of taking their careers into the next level. I am very particular in the clients that we work with. I love to close deals. For me, it's my business, my passion and I have a great time with it. "
